Volunteering with the Historic Costume and Textile Museum at KSU comes with the perk of seeing and handling our fashion history. Here is just one of the items I have helped catalogue into the system for them. You can see this particular piece at:

Pattern layout and adjustment is the longest part in my opinion.

This evening gown has been my favorite one to make so far. I call it "Beauty in Faith."

In November of 2023, I was awarded the Volunteer Service Medal as recognition for my contributions to the Ft Riley Catholic Community as a Religious Education Teacher and Lead Cantor for Mass.

I made this as part of my knitwear project. I chose this design because I didn't like what the Army's Winter PT Uniform looked like. So I made one up as a concept and ended up modeling it in the IDFS Showcase of Excellence in Spring 2025.

Sewing the garment is my favorite part. Here I am sewing an evening gown.
